This player streams both MP3's and Flash video files (like video.flv). The user can activate either an audio playlist or a video playlist by selecting the buttons in the middle of the player. Once the playlist is active, the control buttons (play, pause, fast forward, reverse, next, previous, etc.) control the current selection. The single volume slider controls volume levels for both MP3's and the video.
One of the benefits of using Flash video is that you do not have to worry about whether or not the user has the proper codec loaded or the right video player. As long as the user has the Flash player installed, the video will play. Currently, 98% of all user's browsers have the Flash player installed.

This player is configured to progressively stream the external MP3s and video files. It loads its song list and video list from an external file that is formatted as XML. The XML file is just a plain text file that contains the MP3 or FLV location and file name and the title of the audio or video. If you can edit a text file with a simple text editor, you can update this player to support your MP3's and videos.
This player supports audio auto start, playlist repeat and continuous play as a configurable option.
You will get the FLA file (which can be edited in Flash MX 2004 or later), the SWF, the XML file (which is a plain text file with an extension of .XML), a sample HTML file and instructions. This is plug and play.
